Mechanical Maintenance Specialist
This position is responsible for the mechanical maintenance of all city equipment and the seasonal maintenance of the municipal pool. It also includes cutting and welding tasks, concrete related work, meter reading, assisting the electrical crew as well as other duties as assigned. The successful candidate should be a high school graduate with at least three years’ experience in mechanical maintenance, construction or related areas. The salary range depends on qualifications and experience.
Water Department Utility Worker
This position is responsible for performing a variety of water related or other utility related services. This would include taking water samples, making repairs to water lines, flushing fire hydrants and setting and installing main water valves as well as other duties as assigned. The successful candidate should be a high school graduate with at least three years related experience. The candidate should also be able to obtain and maintain a DS-2 class Water License and a CDL. The salary range depends on qualifications and experience.
Certified Journeyman Lineman
This position is responsible for performing a variety of skilled electrical work such as system repairs, maintenance, testing, and installation tasks. This includes connecting electrical transformers, operating bucket trucks, drill equipment and climbing utility poles as well as other duties as assigned. The successful candidate should be a Certified Journeyman Lineman. The salary range depends on qualifications and experience.
